We owe our kids a unified message.

#Willard214 School went online. Summer arrived a bit early with spring break changed. We used padlet instead postits. We had zoom classes daily. We took virtual walks. We chatted, read stories. you asked questions. Those small moments were very important to me & I miss you. 💛🖤

#Willard214 In class, everyday after lunch, we wrote thoughts, feelings, & wonders on post-its during Mindful Minute Break. This allowed us to calm down from cafeteria, get settled into feelings & tell the teachers anything We needed to know, Now we use Padlet.

Working from home can be a challenge for adults to manage. Expecting kids to be great at it after a few weeks is completely unrealistic.
