A phenomenal leader getting her flowers - Shona has been the best mentor, curriculum lead and friend since starting at TASE in my first teaching role. I am so fortunate to have the privilege of working with such a team
On Tuesday Tim, a second generation Holocaust survivor is delivering a talk to a group of Y9 students. A topic we have focused on meticulously, as a department given a rise in antisemitic violence. This ties in to the work we will do for Holocaust Memorial Day @TrinityAcadStE
We’ve been working on annotation with y10 this week. They searched for information about Medieval beliefs of causes, treatments and preventions of the Black Death within a story, linking to prior knowledge on Medieval health 🩺@TrinityAcadStE
This week’s involve was investigating how ‘bloody’ Bloody Mary actually was. Students plotted information given on a scale and practiced their ‘writing like a historian’ skills that we’ve been developing within lessons 🌟
‘They develop knowledge and skills that belie their age. For example, Year 8 pupils can provide detailed verbal commentary on the causes of the Russian Revolution.’ So proud of our unashamedly ambitious History curriculum and our incredible students 👏🏻👏🏻
We are delighted to share with you that Trinity Academy St Edward’s has been graded as ‘Outstanding in all areas’ in our first Ofsted Section 5 inspection. We are so proud of this achievement ❤️ #academicexcellence#amazingexperience#outstanding
I love this so much. Also so aware of how much Barnsley needed this, serving the community you’re from and care so passionately about makes this even sweeter. Well deserved from all involved
This morning we celebrated the Masters of Recall brilliance of Year 8. Well done on the year group average of 83%. Huge well done to our Top 20, gold badge winners and to Will and Joseph for 160/160 #academicexcellence

I said last and I take it back because it needs to be said, but I am so fortunate to teach such amazing students. The emails and tweets received have made me so emotional and the fact that parents had gotten us thank you presents is beyond belief. What a school, what a cohort
A final post about how amazing Paris 2024 was. Feeling incredibly lucky to work with such amazing colleagues and students as they truly made the trip. Thanks to Mr Betts for such fantastic photos - a man of many talents
The kindest students and community I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. We have loved taking these incredible young people to make the best memories. No thanks were needed but they were greatly appreciated! @TASEMFL a truly amazing experience 🎉
What a day! Absolutely fabulous and we even found out that Mr Betts has a secret skill - watch the video to see for yourselves! Smiles all round as we head for something to eat and a trip to the hypermarket. @Tase1Humanities
