We are having snow βοΈ much fun in the wolves! We made glitter water and watched it freeze from our window. We were so excited to see our ice blocks and play with them! Now we are watching them melt on our tuff tray!
Two SKs picked up a comic book during centers today and read to each other! What a gift it is to see these reading skills develop!
Outdoor learning is our favourite! βThe tracks are leading us somewhereβ we found and followed a bunny, dog and maybe a mouse!
We started on our Christmas cards for the Kindergarten Christmas Card Exchange! So many beautiful creations with watercolour!
Today we measured how tall objects in our classroom are, wrote messages in our mailbags and dug for secret treasure!

Weβre in the midst of poppy colouring for the wreath we are making! Ask your wolf what colour poppies are!
We made groups of 10 and counted 431 seeds that were inside our pumpkin named Sunflower!
In the wolves today we carved our class pumpkin! We voted on which face it should have, scooped out the seeds and wrote down some ideas on what we should name it! π Tomorrow we count the seeds!
Our SKs are writing important notes to their grown ups about upcoming events at school! We were super excited to bring them home!

Our first trip to the Dragon park was great! So much to discover during outdoor learning!
Some exciting things happened this morning! A moth flew out of my bag of leaves, we created a visual schedule for the week and D created βa bunch of squares!β
This week we are working on the letters in our names and working on numbers 1-5! So excited to sprinkle fall ππ into our centers!
Over the last week the Wolves have learnt a lot about #OrangeShirtDay and why itβs important to remember the history of Canada. We read about Phyllis Webstadβs orange shirt and how we can make sure no more orange shirts are taken away as well as how the land we are on is sacredπ§‘
