A huge thank you to all the parents who have contributed to the EYFS parent fund. We have purchased a set of caterpillar for each class/ carpet area in Nurs and Rec. The children are loving having the first hand experience of watching them change.🐛🦋 @MissMpofuEYFS @NurseryBBurn

We went on a mini beast hunt in the nature garden and the den. We spotted lots of bugs and insects 🐛@BrookburnP

We have been learning about healthy living and we had fun making fruit salad but especially liked eating it! @BrookburnP

Thank you to the organisers @BrookburnPTA for putting together the welly walk to raise money. We walked 5 laps in the squelchy mud and had a great time! @BrookburnP

#WorldBookDay2023 fun. We talked about our favourite books and why we like them. Then children’s author @tessa_singhmcr shared her book. We enjoyed listening to the story and being the author of our own stories! @BrookburnP

This international week, we learnt so much about different countries and languages. We sang songs, made flags and even had French breakfast. Thank you to our visitors and everyone that made our international week fun and informative @BrookburnP

It’s been a busy time in reception learning all about dinosaurs. We have been swapping facts and dispelling myths. We have been excavating dinosaur fossils and making models with different materials, including using 2D shapes. We even got to see and feel real fossils! @BrookburnP

Reception found it really interesting and enjoyed handling the fossils!

We were extremely lucky to have a visit from Dr Farrell today. We held trilobites, ammonites, very heavy fossilised shells and even a part of a dinosaur that she had found in the desert! Thank you so much. #universityofmanchester @BrookburnP @MissMpofuEYFS
