An important part of what the State does is preserving History.
I am honoured to be among the chosen few by H.E The President Uhuru Kenyatta to receive The Head of State Commendation in recognition of distinguished and outstanding services that I have rendered to the Nation.

I was honored to attend the Thanksgiving Service for the former KUPPET Kitui County Executive Secretary, Mr. Kioko Mutia, in Maliku, Kanyangi Ward, Kitui Rural Constituency.
The testimonies shared about him highlighted a leader who led teachers with integrity, inclusivity and a passion for mentoring young colleagues. It was inspiring to hear how many lives he has impacted and how highly he is regarded by his colleagues.
As he concludes his tenure, he leaves behind a legacy of service and leadership that is worth emulating. I wish him God’s blessings, good health and success in the next chapter of his journey.
Former First Lady Margaret Kenyatta has hailed the transformative role of art and music in empowering young people and strengthening communities, citing Ghetto Classics as a shining example of how talent, when nurtured and supported, can unlock opportunity and inspire lasting change.
Speaking during the Ghetto Classics Charity Golf Tournament at Migaa Golf Club, she celebrated the programme's 18-year journey of impacting lives through music education, mentorship, scholarships, and social support for more than 1,500 young people across Kenya.
Mrs. Kenyatta called on stakeholders to continue investing in youth development through the arts, emphasizing that such support goes beyond philanthropy to building confidence, inspiring hope, and creating new possibilities for children, families, and communities.
She reaffirmed that when communities invest in young people, they not only transform individual lives but also contribute to a more inclusive and prosperous future for society.

Edwin Sifuna is a true son of Baba Raila Odinga and a real Kenyan patriot, who stood with him in good and bad times.
On this special day, we honor your courage, your consistency, and your unwavering dedication to the mwananchi.
Happy Birthday !
This evening, I had the distinct privilege of receiving the very first President~ visiting Head of State for the Africa Forward Summit, receiving His Excellency Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
As we prepare to host over 30 Heads of State and thousands of delegates, this summit marks a historic shift, the first time this dialogue is held in an Anglophone nation. Over the next few days, Kenya and France will co-chair sessions dedicated to reforming international financial architecture, digital technology, and green industrialization.
The arrival of President Ouattara signals the beginning of a transformative week for African-European relations. We are ready to showcase Kenya’s leadership and hospitality on the world stage.
Karibu Magical Kenya H.E. Alassane Ouattara🇰🇪!
African World Heritage is an essential part of our shared human story.
On 5 May, #AfricanWorldHeritageDay, we honour its richness, diversity and universality—and invest in its future.
This year also marks 20 years of the African World Heritage Fund, supporting the protection of cultural and natural heritage across the continent.
Progress is real, but challenges remain: Africa still represents only 12% of World Heritage sites.
We must go further. Heritage drives education, jobs, sustainable tourism and resilience to climate change.
Today, let us reaffirm: Africa is a force for knowledge, conservation and transmission—for the benefit of all humanity. #ForThePeople

Accompanied the Prime Cabinet Secretary,@MusaliaMudavadi, receiving H.E. @KagutaMuseveni, President of Uganda,at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport upon his arrival for the Africa We Build Summit 2026: Infrastructure as the Engine of Industrialisation.

Meeting with the richest man in Africa @AlikoDangote the second time on the sideline of the Africa we build summit, my prayer and call to him has always been one... "Come and invest in Uganda." today I am over joyed to get a solid yes from him. I can't wait to see that happening.
Had a productive engagement with parents of Mabole Primary School and leaders from Butere Subcounty, where we held meaningful discussions on the critical link between education, enterprise development, and the cooperative movement.
Education is the foundation upon which we build empowered communities. By equipping our children with knowledge, skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset, we are preparing them not just for employment, but for enterprise creation and active participation in our economy. Strong schools today will produce innovative entrepreneurs and cooperative members tomorrow.
As a Ministry, we remain committed to strengthening this connection by supporting initiatives that integrate education with practical economic opportunities, especially within the MSME and cooperative sectors.
I urge the people of Butere and the larger Western region to take advantage of the immense potential in coffee farming. Coffee is a high-value crop that can transform household incomes and uplift entire communities when organized effectively.
Equally important, I call upon you to join the Western Mega SACCO currently being registered. Through unity, savings, and access to affordable credit, we can unlock opportunities, grow our enterprises, and build sustainable wealth together.
Let us invest in education, embrace enterprise, and strengthen our cooperatives for a more prosperous future.
Love was truly in the air at the Karen Blixen Museum in Nairobi County as we joined H.E. President Dr. William Ruto and other leaders to witness a beautiful moment between Ronnie Kip and Terry beginning their forever together.
It was more than just a ceremony, it was a celebration of love, unity, and the promise of a shared journey ahead.
Wishing Ronnie and Terry a lifetime of happiness. May their love remain strong through every season, and may each day together be even more meaningful than the last.
Yesterday marked the close of a successful Africa Urban Forum, with the adoption of the Nairobi Declaration.
I am proud and deeply grateful to my UN-Habitat colleagues whose tireless work, often behind the scenes, made our strong and meaningful engagement possible.
