New term, fresh start, have a great half term everyone. Stay positive, be realistic about what you can manage in your work hours and ask for help if you're struggling. Be kind to yourself this term and celebrate all of your small wins as well as any big ones. You're all amazing!
Sometimes I have to remind myself that I have only completed one half term as a teacher and I don’t need to know everything or be at the same standard as experienced teachers! You really do learn everyday as a teacher ✨ #ect
Not looking forward to this starting again next week. Strange for colleagues to say this to me but also not offer help/advice other than “try to switch off”.
Picked up my last few sets of @Invisalign aligners today from @MyPuredental 🤩 Still can’t get over how straight forward the whole process has been - can’t recommend them enough! 👏🏻 follow them on Instagram! 📷
Couldn’t be more true 😅 at least I can say I just about survived my first half term, module 1 completed (in 2 weeks), reports sent, OPPs done and a very positive observation on the last day. Time to rest 🤩
@ClassroomSci@MrTs_NQTs This is exactly my position. I don’t know enough about it but it’s been in the back of my mind whilst trying to just get through the first half term 😥
*Daily Tip*
Take time this half term to reflect on just how far you have come. Remember you are at the start of your journey, no one is expecting you to be the perfect teacher (I'm not sure anyone is) so don't expect it from yourself. #YouGotThis
@MrsKHallett Exactly! I’m constantly being told “this isn’t hard compared to what I had to do”. How is that helpful to someone to is visibly struggling each day?! Especially when you don’t know them or what they’re going through.
Pretty much worked all weekend (which I don’t agree with) but I’m hoping it’ll give me the upper hand going into week 3. The first two were horrendous. Let’s see... 🤞🏼
*Daily Tip*
Please don't compare your journey in teaching to others. Everyone has different strengths, experiences & skills. Especially don't compare yourself to those who have 10 years more experience than you. Focus on your own practice & be a bit better each day! #YouGotThis
