To try to copy other people’s work, and not even come close to the same quality of work is laughable.
Do what you’re good at, don’t start something to be spiteful.
“It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation.” - Herman Melville
Be yourself, don’t copy and imitate others.
There’s only one you! Be original.
I think generosity is a muscle strengthened with use. There are so many opportunities to help people. And also just to bless people. Pay for their coffee. Pick up a young family’s meal at a restaurant. Slip a gift card to a pastor’s wife. Generous people are much happier people.
I need you to hear me as clearly as I know how to speak it: I have messed up so terribly in my life. Also been abused & misused. I’ve felt so stuck, I thought death was the only way out. I’ve been certain God was finished with me and that I’d never be free. None of it was true.
We connect to a church not only to get fed, but we get connected to feed and sow into other peoples lives. Find a local church and get connected. We are better and stronger together. The church is not here to compete but to complete the kingdom of God.
For the love of God, accept where He has you. How many confirmations does it take? You’re expending needed energy craving certainty. Is He not sovereign? Can He not see? Compulsive self-doubt isn’t humility. Your reluctance is undermining your effectiveness. Just serve already.
I just went to Chick-fil-A and a customer went up to the counter and claimed her sandwich wasn’t hot. Girlllllll.... your cheese on your sandwich is melted. I’m so sorry Chick-fil-A had to fix something that wasn’t broken. But I guess that’s why Chick-fil-A is the best.
You can't out-sin the goodness of God. "I will give you grace and where sin does abound, grace does much more abound." -Romans 5:20 #JoyceQuote#GoodWord
Today as I’m eating a honey bun prior to church service:
Roman: “This is the first time I’ve seen cannabalism in church.”
Me: 🤨
Roman: “It’s a honey bun eating a honey bun.”

“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
All throughout Scripture, there is much dialogue of fights, battles & wars. It is the evidence of God’s jealous love that is always relentlessly pursuing to protect us. The enemy is real, but God’s love is bigger and stronger than the fears this world has to offer.
