@SenatorWong Australia condemns Israel for murdering UN peacekeepers. Australia also condemns Israel for its illegal invasion of Lebanon. (Fixed it for you).
This should be the biggest story in QLD, but nobody is talking about it.
The QLD LNP are in the process of reviving the Joh-era gerrymandering via stealth now that the electoral boundaries are coming up for their 7-year distribution.
This is how the LNP are attempting to hold onto power - by changing the electoral boundaries largely to favour the LNP and weaken Labor support within the boundaries.
The key to the redistribution within electoral boundaries lies with the LNP appointment of John Sosso - who has been instrumental in weakening the laws around “independent” appointments for a moment such as this. Now that John Sosso has been appointed to the Queensland Redistribution Commission he has set about making sure that the electoral boundaries can and will favour the LNP for at least another 7 years.
Historically John Sosso is an LNP hack. A past member of the Liberal Party, Sosso has a long history of working for the LNP. He has also had past associations with Joh Bjelke-Petersen himself and displayed hostility towards the Fitzgerald inquiry, deliberately hostile to the Inquiry by not assisting the inquiry itself.
Sosso has been beavering away for a long time to undermine democracy in QLD - and is as far removed as possible from the status of political independence that the QRC states it requires.
It would appear that we are entering a second age of Bjelkemandering in Queensland and the numpties are oblivious to the manoeuvres of potential corruption.
There are many in the LNP who admire Joh Bjelke-Petersen and want nothing more than to bring back the golden days of chook feeding and brown paper bags.
Fitzgerald himself has recently made commentary regarding the questionable appointment of Sosso.
We must ask ourselves why this is being kept out of the public eye and why the media are complicit in its implementation.
Who wins from boundary redistribution that favours the LNP? Not just the LNP but the many vested interests that benefit from political corruption, just like they did when the Nationals once ruled Queensland for more than a quarter of a century.

Australia Institute research shows a 25% tax on gas exports could solve the gas crisis – and raise $17 billion every year at the same time!
Australians are tired of the gas industry not paying its fair share of taxes and royalties. #auspol
We hope the good people of #SanFrancisco will forgive us for adapting a song about their city in 1967 to address the shocking and tragic events in #Minnesota in recent weeks. This is dedicated to Renée Good and Alex Pretti, and in solidarity. Our version is called "Minnesota" ❤️
