@MrTs_NQTs I am so excited to say I have a job in Reception to begin my ECT journey β€οΈ just wondered if anyone had any tips, essentials for my classroom and transition day ideas?
@MrTs_NQTs Hi!
I have an interview where I need to read a story to 10 EYFS children. I was thinking of doing the colour monster with the addition of makaton signs for the emotions and links to self regulation. Any tips or other ideas would be great!
I've had such a lovely first day on my 3rd year placement in a lovely EYFS classroom. The school and my mentor have been so kind and welcoming which has really helped me to settle in. I can't wait to get stuck in, tomorrow I will even be leading an input on 3D shape ππ
Happy #InternationalChildrensBookDay! To celebrate, Iβm giving away this bundle of wonderful picture books. To enter, RT and tag a friend (ends 9pm on Sunday 4th April, U.K. only.) π
@UDGavin With my year 2's last year we used an app called chatterpix kids and they created animations where they took photos of the shape, added a 'mouth' and recorded themselves describing the features of the shape so it would look like it was talking. They loved it and the app was easy!
I have had lots of teachers asking me if they can use my childrenβs stories to make online videos for their pupils. Normally you have to get the authorβs permission but please feel free to do whatever you like with my books at this time. Use them at toilet paper if that helps. x
