Just had my old mentor and now good friend from @WHS_Eng pay me a surprise visit in hospital with her family after my operation. The relationships built in the teaching profession are so special! Thank you Paula ❤ #WallaceFamily @wallacehighsch

@missmcvittie Hello, is there a blank layout of this somewhere that you could share? This is such a fantastic idea!

Have a student you're struggling with?

Try the 'two-by-ten' strategy:

For two minutes each day, 10 days in a row, have a personal conversation with the student about anything the student is interested in.

Wonderfully simple and wildly effective.

I'm an English Teacher but I love my sports just as much as I love my Shakespeare! As an ambassador for #GirlsinSport I enjoyed watching so many friends love their sports this week. The social, academic and mental benefits enhance your productivity - a catch up walk is my 😍

I have tasted what it's like to live away from my family, in the middle of a bomb zone... AND look after an Ape in a zoo that's not open to the public! A war of anger. A misread boy. The worst of humanity thrown together. Still drying my tears! #whscarnegiecarnival

S3 looked like they had a great time this morning playing some RUAE games that I've made. They particularly enjoyed Dominoes and Snap! @WHS_Eng

Here’s a peek at our #MentalHealthFest! fayre, organised by our amazing MH Champions. The highlight was definitely ‘sponge the teacher’ 😅 thank you to everyone who got involved. #mentalhealth #memtalhealthweek #wellbeing #schools #teachers

After studying Avengers Assemble for their media unit, S1 are demonstrating what they have learned to create their own superhero vs villain short films. Fantastic to see each group take control of their own project as well as making sure their camera angles are on point! @WHS_Eng

Today my incredible great grandma Lily Ebert, a Holocaust survivor, turns 98!!

“I never expected to survive Auschwitz. Now, at 98, I celebrate surrounded by my family - the Nazis did not win!”

To the thousands of people who sent birthday cards & messages to Lily, THANK YOU ❤️❤️
