Inspired by our new text, The Disgusting Sandwich by Gareth Edwards and Hannah Shaw, year 2 have made their own disgusting sandwiches. Don’t worry - we didn’t eat them! #thedisgustingsandwich #reading #loveoflearning #engagement #shineourlight

"If you can only be tall because somebody is on their knees, then you have a serious problem” - the words of the late, great Toni Morrison. Racism is an evil that none of our societies can claim to be immune from. But we must stand against & eradicate it.

[Angela Rayner @AngelaRayner]

Thanks Liv great to get a chance to listen&help my constituents by doing something practical, we have a brilliant community spirit in Failsworth spoilt by a minority who engage in ASB which ruins it for everyone else. I promise to follow up on this and get back to constituents.

[Miss Hughes @MissOHughes]

Lovely to meet @AngelaRayner today... taking the time to actually listen to the residents and taking a proactive response in helping to address the antisocial behaviour in Failsworth 👏
