15-year-old Anastasia Hnatyshyn from Lviv has become the European chess champion.
She was ranked 74th out of 150, but she scored 9 points out of a possible 11 and became the fourth continental champion in the history of Ukrainian women's chess.

The Closing ceremony of the event took place in the playing venue, with the attendance of the ECU President Mr. Zurab Azmaiparashvili, President of Georgian Chess Federation Mr. Akaki Iashvili, ECU Tournament Director Mr. Petr Pisk, tournament officials, players, and distinguished guests.
