Class 16 have enjoyed learning about the Queen this week and we are looking forward to celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee this afternoon! We have added a badge to our lanyards to mark the special occasion 👑😊

Today for #InternationalWomensDay we have been thinking about breaking down stereotypes and valuing women in different areas of life. We focused on women as leaders and looked at the work of Michelle Obama. We then designed logos for #BreakTheBias #IWDatkestrels @kestrelmead

We have had a lovely day for World Book Day! The front cover of our story was hidden so we created our own front cover using clues from the book. We have also listened to some amazing stories and shared our favourite books #WorldBookDay  #kestrelslovetoread @kestrelmead

Yesterday was #SaferInternetDay so today we looked at how to keep safe online. We looked at online and offline relationships and who we know best. It is really important to remain safe online at all times! @kestrelmead @miss_boweKMPA

Year 3 had a fantastic DT Enrichment Day on Tuesday! We designed, created and evaluated a piece of Burleigh pottery based on our Topic work. We can’t wait to paint them the traditional blue and white colours soon! #curiosity @kestrelmead

Big shout out to Mr Thomason! Everyday this week, he has carried heavy bags full of supplies for @TMETrust Christmas hug. Some of his family and friends live in Wales, so they’ve donated money for him to go out and buy the supplies to top up all the class’s boxes. @kestrelmead
