@k_miller08 VCE here, we tried lots of different methods. Cameras/microphones on Teams during tasks, my girls wanted to hand write...so 5 mins to print @ start, 5 mins to take photos using Microsoft Lens and import to One Note at the end. Also used https://t.co/6XpL85eAqW & Education Perf
This is a great article for a media response for Unit 3&4 Psych. Taps into sleep, sleep deprivation, cognitive/behavioral effects, Alzheimer’s, sleep across the lifespan...and the rest! #vcepsych#sleep#vce
Some great new features for Teams... #strathypln 35+ new features in Teams to get excited about now through August - Microsoft Tech Community https://t.co/d0HVkt79BL
For those that haven’t come across the Education Endowment Foundation website, I highly recommend the resources to assist schools with conversations around planning for change. A great process and check list can be found here: https://t.co/IilIOm0FR4 🙌✨✨
2021 Day 1 switching back to remote learning. Forgot how to share my screen - great example of brain plasticity "use it or lose it"! First time using @MicrosoftTeams breakout rooms. Fantastic for small group work with Yr 12s this morning #strathypln#vcepsych#melbournelockdown
@keiraw7@michelledennis Let’s show it to them this week. Reinforce that visual note taking wasn’t just something we mentioned one time and suggest they use Wed arvos to work on their notes ☺️
Would you mind sharing one boundary you're creating/implementing this week?
When we share it may help others who don't know what to do.
A boundary I've had lately is not answering emails on the weekends. Emails generally add to my to-do list, so I still work some but emails-no.
@michelledennis@ScottEacott Exactly. My Year 11 students couldn’t get past paywalls so I encouraged them to email authors in the hope they would send them a copy of their research for free. Most replied and were very obliging!
Hairdresser’s phones & golf tee time bookings would be blowing up right now!
(some of the journo’s questions 🤯 ...switching off now 🙃) #victorialockdown#COVID19Vic
I have been thinking about #returntoschool activities for my Year 7s and made this "Human Bingo". Trying to get reconnected, get them talking and moving. Here is the link if you'd like to adapt it for your class: https://t.co/4jDjBkN6LA #Melbournelockdown#AussieEd#edutwitter
I've loved watching Insight with Jenny Brockie as the presenter, she always manages to get the best out of the guests with her professional and warm manner.
Some news from me … after nearly 19 years presenting Insight I’ve decided I need a change. Before anyone leaps to conclusions, I’m happy to say this is my call. I’ve loved my job but a break has made me realise I want to do other things....1/6
