It’s our Superhero Day at @TBSWarsaw introducing our new PLG superheroes for @The_IPC. Our children have been completing challenges to show they can be PLG superheroes too! @NAEducation
As part of our @The_IPC Moving People unit, Year 5 have created their own pieces of art taking inspiration from artwork by a Syrian refugee. They are developing their art skills and the personal learning goals of being empathetic and respectful @NAEducation@TBSWarsaw@MrTHolmes1
COVID-19 has impacted millions of children's literacy, but recent studies have shown that watching TV with subtitles on can double the chances of children becoming proficient readers, and it's completely free! https://t.co/Id5eAV2vFu #edutwitter#TurnOnTheSubtitles
As part of their @The_IPC entry point for our new unit, Moving People, Year 5 have experienced what it would be like to move suddenly with only a bag and build a shelter out of random materials #ipc#BeAmbitious@NAEducation@TBSWarsaw@MrTHolmes1
As part of their @The_IPC international learning goal in Out of Africa, Year 5 have created their own video about superbugs, viruses and vaccines. We hope you can use it to stay safe during this pandemic. @TBSWarsaw@NAEducation#ipc#beambitious@MrTHolmes1
When your class has an avengers themed PE task and I am now in a debate about whether they actually did any physical training 😂 can any avengers help a teacher out in trying to convince 9 year olds to exercise remotely?! @ChrisEvans@chrishemsworth@RobertDowneyJr@MarkRuffalo
The children still manage to make me laugh even over virtual learning! The child had to research an animal and left me a little comment underneath their work 😂
I have had lots of teachers asking me if they can use my children’s stories to make online videos for their pupils. Normally you have to get the author’s permission but please feel free to do whatever you like with my books at this time. Use them at toilet paper if that helps. x
