@mxplant_EY @MrTs_NQTs Play class games like guess what object I have written on my whiteboard where EVERYONE in the class has to raise their hand to give a one word answer. It’s a fun, simple game to begin the conversations☺️

During an intensive week with a selective mutism specialist, a child who I’ve been teaching for over year is now able to talk to me in class around all of his peers! His hand also went up for the first time in his school life to answer a question! This is a HUGE achievement! 🙌🤩

My favourite part of the day is definitely receiving a hug from one of my year 4 children just as she leaves to go home. It’s the small things in life 🤗

@miss_sharrock2 @MrTs_NQTs Not too difficult since year 3 and 4 are working towards the same LKS2 curriculum, just ensure you have a challenge and higher expectations for most year 4’s if they are able to ensure you differentiate slightly x

I’ve just found out I’m going to be in Year 3/4 for my RQT year which I’m thrilled about! 😁 I’m also a bit nervous as I haven’t been in Year 3 since my first placement at uni! 😟

@MissJehan3 On placement last year, me and the class teacher made up a story on the spot about the characters we were dressed up as (Dorothy and Winnie the Pooh) and involved some of the children too. It was a fun way to end the day and you could do it with your TA too! Xx

I’ve been told today by the executive and headteacher that I will still have my job and be part of the teaching team next year! I’m very excited and glad to stay at the amazing school I’m already in! 🙌💕 #RQT
