Today K-2 and 3-5 were given the challenge of racing across the room while keeping 3 dice on their tongue depressor, racing to move a paper cup across the room using only a straw, and seeing if they could stack 15 cups into a pyramid in under 1 min.

Today we put our skills to the test with Ms. Costelloe’s crew! We played “Buttoning Around” where we raced to move buttons from one plate to another using only a toothpick. Then, we designed a new version of “paddle ball” using only a paper plate, popsicle and a balloon! SO FUN!

We always had a blast with K-2 building sailboats and making ocean-themed glitter jars. Then we took a trip to the Art Room to paint Koi Fish with Mrs. Sullivan! 🐠🎨⛵️

Continuing with the Under The Sea theme, we retook a virtual tour of the Seattle Aquarium and then researched animals to create our own aquarium!

Today K-2 and 3-5 teamed up to explore sand for our Under The Sea theme this week! We worked together to build “edible sand castles” with brown sugar and to make sand art with glue and sand from the beach! We had a blast!! 🌊☀️

Another fun-filled day for these campers! We had another awesome time with @TeacherMassa outside with solar paper and leaf rubbings. We also loved our lesson in symmetry and the sun with Mrs. Sullivan in Art. 🍁☀️🖍

Thanks @TeacherMassa for the super fun nature walk and symmetry activity. These 3rd - 5th graders got to see just how symmetrical a butterfly can be! ☀️🌺🌻🦋@FSDVikings

This week grades 3-5 soared into learning with a fun science experiment with red and blue skittles and some warm water. We also had a blast playing outside with our red, white, and blue beach ball! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 @FSDVikings
