A retired divorce court judge wrote down the one phrase he heard in every marriage that ended in ruins.
He said it’s the earliest predictor.
Here is what it is…. 🧵
Your resume is NOT your CV!!!
Your resume is NOT your CV!!!
Your CV is NOT your resume!!!
Your CV is NOT your resume!!!
A resume is a concise, tailored summary of your skills, experience, and achievements, usually 1–2 pages, and designed to land you a specific job.
While a CV (Curriculum Vitae) is a comprehensive document that details your entire career journey, including education, research, publications, awards, and more, often multiple pages, and is typically used for academic, research, or international positions.
They perform similar functions (showcasing your experience and qualifications) but they are essentially NOT the same.
Always know which one is expected before applying. Sending a CV when a resume is required (or vice versa) can cost you the opportunity.
Please be careful out there.
A Gen Z joined the team.
Week one.
During onboarding, the manager said,
“We sometimes stay late during peak periods.”
Gen Z nodded.
Then asked,
“Is that paid… or just expected?”
The room went quiet.
- No attitude.
- No rebellion.
- Just a question.
Later that day, HR mentioned “growth opportunities.”
Gen Z replied,
“Does growth include raises, or just more responsibility?”
Again, silence.
- No laziness.
- No entitlement.
- Just clarity.
That’s when the team realized something.
When people say
“Gen Z is lazy,”
what they really mean is:
Gen Z watched old generation
- skip meals,
- miss birthdays,
- work weekends,
- and burn out
only to be told
“budgets are tight”
and “be grateful you have a job.”
So Gen Z chose differently.
- They don’t romanticize overwork.
- They don’t confuse suffering with ambition.
- They don’t trade health for praise.
They still work hard.
They just refuse to work for nothing.
It’s not laziness.
It’s pattern recognition.
And honestly,
after everything old generation went through…
Can you really blame them?
@MissRo23 We're sorry to hear you had such a frustrating experience! We would be happy to help you with this. Please DM us your contact information so we can have our Team investigate this for you.
@HiltonGrandVac I completed a survey and emailed my POC regarding my unpleasant experience during a showing and the removal of my points weeks ago and still have not heard back. As a diamond member and committed customer I expected more from the HGV experience.
On average I drive 11 different cars a year. Imagine how confused I am when I pull up to the gas station? Get ready to shift gears...or even start the dang car.
One of my adult children has been trying to enroll in health insurance for weeks now.
Mailed in her form with a check, called for weeks every damn day talking to “customer service” reps, they claim they don’t have her form or check and told her to FAX in a new one, FAX, FAX, who even does that anymore 🤯, so after she said I don’t even know how to FAX she then figured it out and FAXED her form in multiple times and that was over a week ago, and she’s still calling and talking to them EVERY DAY, and they still don’t have her enrolled yet with a policy and claim it’s in process.
And God love her, she’s doing great diligently working this insane process on her own like many Americans have to do everyday.
I’m not one of those helicopter moms, never have been because I raised my kids to be responsible for their own lives, so I’m just in Mom daily call support mode.
But Lord Jesus take the wheel, I’d like to choke someone out at this point!!!(figuratively speaking of course everyone)
Health Insurance is a disaster!!
Democrats created this with Obamacare and added to it by passing the 2021 tax credits and want to keep the same mess going.
Republicans have yet to present us with an effective plan to fix it because there isn’t a complete plan yet, just bills that address certain areas.
And one time $2,000 stimulus checks, that get taxed by the way, are not going to help Americans afford health insurance or fix this epic failure.
The frustration and anger is real and warranted.
All of this from both parties is unacceptable and both sides should take responsibility and work together to fix it.
Will's responses during conversations are abrasive, have no emotion, and aren't inclusive. From the beginning, his attitude gives that he doesn't want to be there. Of course Brittany has walls up
