All dorms are very competitive in our Dorm Inspection Competition π@Kinneil_PS@MrsCassidyKPS
Literacy Week
The pupils in P7R enjoyed taking part in a range of activities for Literacy Week. A scavenger hunt, a world book day quiz, free writing and daily literacy related games/challenges. Thank you to @MissYoungKPS and @MissSmith_KPS for organising a fun week π
Art
Whilst leaning about Scotland and Rabbie Burns, pupils in P7R sketched portraits of Robert Burns and used water colours to add some colour. We hope to display these at our Burns Supper π@Kinneil_PS

We have been trying out the use of vertical surfaces during some of our maths lessons. The pupils have commented that they enjoy using these and working with each other to solve mathematical problems. @Kinneil_PS
After discussing Bonfire Night and safety around this, we created an information text to share this information. This afternoon we visited our buddies in P1 @MissMackayKPS and P2/1 to share theseβΊοΈπ₯@Kinneil_PS
P7R @MissRobbKPS came to tell us all about firework safety today ahead of Bonfire Night tonight. We loved hearing about all your important facts/information on how to keep ourselves safe. ππ@Kinneil_PS
Literacy
During our grammar this week we recapped similies and metaphors. We worked with a partner to sort the sentences and stick them under the correct heading. Then we tried to come up with our own similies and metaphors.

We tried a new game to practice our times tables this week. A peer called out a multiplication question and the first person to find and cover the correct answer won a point. It was great to see everyone get involved π@Kinneil_PS
