This week in maths Jaguar class has been exploring word problems using numbers to 40. The children have been using concrete and pictorial resources to help them solve the problems. #WWPAMaths
This week in science the children explored what materials are waterproof. The children made walls using; sugar, plastic, playdough, wood and paper. #WWPAScience
This week in DT, the children built their own playgrounds. It had to be a freestanding structure so the children used a variety of methods to achieve this. They used a flange, a tab and an L brace. #WWPADT
This week in Science Jaguar class explored how wind affects materials. The children used a variety of materials including; paper, playdough, plastic, sugar and wood. After building the walls we tested which was the strongest against the wind. #WWPAScience
This week in PE Jaguar class has been practising throwing and catching whilst moving. In groups the children had to concentrate and focus on their teamwork. #WWPAPE
