To @uob_re trainees this year this residential course is fantastic and I would encourage you to go! Not only can you develop your knowledge of the Holocaust and classroom pedagogy. The educators provide teaching resources plus the accommodation and food is great #cpd @HolocaustUK

That’s what I’m going to do, but I understand how you feel the only thing that has got me through is my mentor who trained me. The school I’m at have given me no help :/

But however bad it gets I’m not going to quit because I love teaching!

Today I returned to my placement school and took part in their Holocaust Day where I got to meet Rudi Oppenheimer before hearing him give his testimony to the pupils. It is a privilege to hear a survivor speak and I feel honoured to have met such exceptional people @uob_re #HET
