We have several new ... amazing... teachers at school!
Ranging from ECTs to those on UPS..
Regardless of experience... I sat them down this week and said...
"Starting a new school is overwhelming....new children...new procedures....new parents....new systems....
This half term concentrate on teaching...and getting to know your children.... build those relationships and set those expectations....
You do not have to worry about lesson drop ins from me.... book looks...or action plans....
Find your rhythm..."
I think they appreciated it.
I know I would have done in a new school environment!

@HMRCcustomers Once you’ve selected your bank account should it take you back to the home page ? There wasn’t a page that had confirmed the request had been submitted
After waiting 4 months to come home and reunite with my family and friends, I’ve not had the Christmas I so hoped for 😓. Day 3 of being home my face started to swell. Day 7 I was taken to hospital with what they thought was sepsis! It was a nasty infection that has floored me..
Ive never felt so run down and drained as I did last term and my body has certainly told me that these past three weeks. But, I’m happy I’ve had my amazing family around me whilst battling on ❤️
English teachers 👋 I am teaching a high ability Year 11 class AIC and as I am used to mixed / lower ability classes I’m conscious that this will be a new challenge for me. Does anybody have any resources (at all) or articles that I can use to inform my lesson planning?
