I think people forget that creators and small businesses use TikTok as a means of income and promotion for their brand or business. TikTok being banned means many small businesses and creators have to pivot last minute to a different app.

TikTok being banned means that $24B made from this app towards the US GDP didn’t mean ‘anything’ to the government. This is a loss for multiple reasons. Can we regulate the things that really matter in our country? Maybe healthcare, g^n control, education?
