It’s a bit of a weird feeling knowing I’m not walking into the classroom tomorrow! Thank you to everyone who made my maternity send off so special. I will miss my lovely class so much over these next couple of weeks. They have come on so much year and I am so very proud of them x

Bay loved looking for mini beasts in our outdoor learning session this morning! We used our knowledge of tallying to count how many different species we could find. Some of us found 45 woodlice under a piece of wood! 🐌🪱🐝🪰🐜🕷🐞 @GreenwaysPe

We had a great time exploring multiplication this morning. We tried to find as many ways as we could to put 20 counters into equal groups! #mathsiscool #teambay @GreenwaysPri

Bay class ran their first daily mile this morning! Their perseverance was inspiring and we had a wonderful time. We ran a mile in 13 minutes which was rather impressive for their first go! #aspire #inspire #dailymilechallenge #teambay @GreenwaysPri @GreenwaysPe

In RE this half term we are learning about Judaism. Yesterday we managed to recall 7 of the 10 commandments from our lesson last week and we loved writing Hebrew letters in chalk outside! @GreenwaysPri #TeamBay ⭐️

Yesterday in art we recreated artwork by Kandinsky. We used our knowledge of mixing primary colours to create these beautiful pieces of work! It was such a lovely calm lesson with some amazing results! #kandinsky #artistsinthemaking #TeamBay #aspire #inspire @GreenwaysPri

Bay were shocked to find our classroom turned upside by a mysterious culprit 🌈

Today we discovered some very strange clues left outside by a mysterious creature! There were rainbow scales, garlic cloves, orange segments and popcorn! We were very intrigued to learn more and wrote down notes on what we found. We can't wait to find out more!

The whole Greenways community were deeply saddened by the news about Sir David Amess MP. Sir David was a real champion for Southend and its schools, and our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.
