I love teaching A Kind of Spark and my new S1s are having so much fun with it too! Weโve made beautiful research posters this week looking into real life witch trial cases so I think watching an episode of the show as a Friday treat might be in order ๐งโโ๏ธ @BooksandChokers
Had such a lovely afternoon trip out to the @RCStweets today! So glad I was invited along despite my very limited musical experience (4yrs of playing trombone in school Christmas concerts ๐)
My first ever Higher kids (&my fave class ever) were amongst those leaving school yesterday. Was so funny/heartwarming how many of them popped along to say goodbye but also chat about how much they had loved Gatsby, even quoting their favourite bits a year on ๐๐ญ
Itโs been so fun teaching a book I was OBSESSED with as a teenager. Very glad my S4s have enjoyed it too as Iโm not sure I could have emotionally handled them ripping it to shreds ๐
Loved loved loved Benjamin Zephaniah - never forget his kindness, his bravery, his beauty. The world was a better place with him in it. So sad. He changed things! ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ฟ๐๐
After a week of teaching us, through solo talks, about the most amazing range of topics (from French Revolution to Peppa Pig, from the Allied Invasion of Sicily to Fortnite), my lovely S1s have Christmasified our classroom! ๐ ๐
