Today was the last day for my class to spend their "Sottile Buck's" so of course... I opened an icecream shop!

Let just say some students had A LOT of icecream and toppings today...

What a fun day! Our YMCA Youth Exchange Group put on an amazing 3 vs 3 basketball tournament today!

To wrap up our structures unit the class made bridges! Their goal was to hold 4kg but wow did they hold more than that!!

Today was shop day! The students have written resumes, applied, been interviewed and hired for different jobs over the past month and today they got to spend their money on some fun things.

They enjoyed this much more than paying their rent and utilities every month!

Today was construction day! As an intro to orthographic drawings, the class used different views and clues in order to make the 3D shape out of snap cubes 🔎👷🏼🟪🟨

Day #1 of our "Starbucks Creation". The students coloured, planned, and researched Starbucks drinks in order to create their own. 💚🎨☕

R7A had an amazing experience volunteering at @sghottawa today! They made cards, decorated the dining hall, prepared breakfast, and made sandwiches for the clients.
I loved seeing them work so hard together for an amazing organization! 🧡🥪👏🏻💫
