Our assessment was cancelled twice, due to the Beast from the East and again due to the Beast from the East Part 2 but what a beautiful day for myself and @misswilliams_s to complete our Lowland Leader Assessment, and the best news - we both passed!!!! πππβ°οΈ @dofe_chs
@AldiUK Hi Aldi, to clarify, you have made an error with the units.
I assume you calculated 1.99/22 which gives you 0.09. I can see why this would be a misconception but this actually means Β£0.09 which is equivalent to 9p not 0.09p. I hope this helps. Place value is important.
@Bobby_Seagull In my first ever lesson as a trainee maths teacher, a year 8 pupil put their hand up to ask why my cardigan was inside out..... He had a point!

@BBCBreakfast@Bobby_Seagull Ignore me!!! I read that the second turtle dove starts an hour and a half later!!! Not half an hour later!!! This just shows you shouldn't tweet maths after the 3rd Xmas dinner in 2days
@BBCBreakfast@Bobby_Seagull Unless my tired eyes have misread the question, the birds will be level at 1.30pm which means he will overtake a second later.

Merry Christmas! Every day for 12 days from now, I'll be setting the @BBCBreakfast maths puzzle, the 12 days of Christmas puzzle. The question will be posted by @BBCBreakfast around 8am and the solution 30 minutes later. Here's the first puzzle!
@BBCBreakfast Morning, I'm a maths teacher and I'd love to retweet the 12days of Christmas puzzles. I didn't catch the name of the mathematician who is tweeting them though.
Can't believe after 3 and a half years, I'm no longer 10Ps form tutor!!! Thank you so much for my beautiful baby shawl and baby toy. So proud of how much you have all progressed from your first day in year 7! If I don't see you before, see you on GCSE results day π€π€
