After 3 applications and 3 rejection emails, I have finally managed to get an interview for an NQT position at a school I know well and love. Feeling relieved, excited and nervous all at once 😬 #nqt#edutwitter
1st week of my final placement done ✅ WOW what a shock to the system it is going from Year 5 to Year 1 🥴 Bring on the next 11 weeks of tiny people crying over not being line leader, little hands forever patting me and quite a lot of talk about poo 💩🤣 #pgce#edutwitter
That’s 6 weeks of placement under my belt! I am exhausted but so proud of myself! It took me enough time to get here but I’m finally certain that I’m on the right path in life ☺️ #PGCE
Articles like this from the Sun are very unfair. We aren’t teachers. My wife works for the NHS and worked long, hard hours during and still due to covid. But she couldn’t have done her job without the key worker provision for our girls provided by teachers.
Thank you 🙏
Finished my first week on placement and couldn’t be happier. The children & staff are wonderful & I feel like I’ve really lucked out with this school! I’m already sad about leaving them in February 😢 Hoping schools stay open so I can enjoy this experience as much as possible 💕
Today I will finish the first drafts of my maths and English assignments, which gives me just over a week to mould them both into things that actually make sense 😂 That is the plan anyway! #PGCE
