Cheesy challenge. Lots of scientific vocabulary today. The class were fascinated about the chemical reaction the acid makes. Differing views as to whether it was tasty or not!!! @HollinPrimary
Tumbling toast part 2. We explored whether toast always does land buttered side down. We made the test fair by having same size of bread and measuring height then we recorded the results @HollinPrimary
Tumbling toast. As we were hungry scientists this morning, we started the discussion of our next experiment over a slice of toast - mmmmm @HollinPrimary
A slightly more subdued afternoon undertaking scientific enquiries to see which theories of dinosaur extinction hold up the best. Most pairs decided the majority of evidence was in favour of an asteroid hitting Earth ๐ฅ๐ฅ@HollinPrimary
Brilliant birds!! todayโs challengโbuild a birds nest using beaks only (pegs). We had to gather the correct materials and put them together. FAIL!! It was not easy so we recognised that not all tests work. Birds really ARE brilliant. Ps: difficult with hands too @HollinPrimary
The children are now writing scripts and designing posters for their short film. They have worked extremely well in their teams and canโt wait to get filming. @HollinPrimary @Miss_CMcKay
