i) base took the solana concept of shreds, made it 10x slower, made it centralized, renamed them to blocks, and then said they're faster than solana blocks

in other words, they literally changed the name of what already exists on solana and then started comparing it to a different concept to mislead people

Here's the best part

ii) even with that, this gets them to 200ms — alpenglow consensus reduces solana finality to 100ms!

in other words, not only are Solana shreds still 10x faster, but a decentralized L1 is ***still somehow 2x faster than a centralized L2*** in terms of finality!!!

The finality of decentralized consensus is faster than pre confs from a centralized server — let that sink in
