Today these boys were engineers! They came up with this design to to quickly clean up their cubes. You can even see one of them is sporting the 2.0 version that he improved to make more stable. None of this was part of an assignment and was all for fun at recess! @es_parkside

Our class had a morning circle this week focused on the book, “The Fiesta Dress: a Quienceañera Tale”

We discussed the P2 trait teamwork as many ✋🏽s were needed to pull a celebration off!

This week during indep. work time I turned to see a student behind me just standing and staring at me. I asked him to go sit down, and his response was:

“I just want to be near you.”

My library will always be my favorite part of my classroom 🥰 I’ve worked hard to build up and reorganize the cultural section and I’ve finally collected enough books to start splitting them into specific groups/cultures! The last pic is my summer haul of books 😁 @HortonsCreekES
