I cannot think of a single good reason to throw away branding that has remained iconic for almost two decades in exchange for something that sounds like a porn site
people keep saying "went outside"
and not adding the other parts
we were by and large allowed to congregate outside and there were free or mostly free places we could hang out. there were arcades and 2nd run movies. 3 teens in an area didn't automatically summon the police
Good.
It destroyed the housing market and skyrocketed apartment costs. Half the apartments in my complex are AirBnB.
The guests treat the place like shit.
And the last time I stayed at one in 2019 we had to do the dishes and wash the towels and I still paid a cleaning fee?!?
Marriage for a long time was an economic choice that was made by necessity rather than desire.
Women in particular are now shifting to getting married if they want to, not because they have to.
It is interesting to see which subset of men feel threatened by that.
I think it's weird af when your friends expect you to be supportive of literally anything they do.
Like, date a married guy if you're gonna, but every time you have a "relationship problem" I'm gonna tell you its cuz he's married and he's garbage. U want me to lie to you?
i’ll say it, spiderverse does not need a live action movie whatsoever.
the whole point of what makes ITSV/ATSV so memorable is the exceptional artwork that goes into it, the freedom that animation has so they can execute scenes a live action production couldn’t - leave it alone!

So like, we all agree that Across the Spider-Verse should be nominated for more Oscars than just Best Animated Feature, right?
Like, it should AT LEAST be in the conversation for Picture, Director, and Screenplay, and should 100% get Original Score and Visual Effects noms
