Had a great day at the @Ambition_Inst NPQLL intial conference today! Learnt a lot about the science of learning as well as looking at the structure of the course! Feel so much more informed already!

As part of Food Technology, 5 Ruby have learnt all about herbs and spices, where they come from and the difference between them. We also tasted a range of spices and dried and fresh herbs - as you can see from the photos, some were preferred to others!

As artists, 5 Ruby have been drawing a figure in movement in the style of cubism. Their focus this week was on adding layers and shapes to their initial drawing and beginning to add shade to show tone and texture. For first attempts, there are some brilliant results! 🙌👏

Took my class swimming today and was really pleased to hear such positive feedback from the instructor about what a fantastic group they are and how hard they are working! Making great progress already and it's great to see!

First week of teaching UKS2 is complete! I am loving getting to know my new class and I'm really excited for this year with them 🥰.
