Earlier today, @MTWAUganda joined by line Agencies @TourismBoardUg, @ugwildlife, @PSF_Uganda partners, hoteliers @Ugandahotel ,@UTAUganda ,Dvn't partners, representives fron the creative industry, the media and stakeholders officially launched the 2026 World Tourism Day #WTD2026 scheduled to take place on the 27th,September 2026 at Mbale S.S Grounds, Mbale-Eastern Uganda. This year’s #WTD2026 will be celebrated under the theme, " Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism ".
Ahead of main celebrations on 27th September 2026,the Ministry and Sector at large will be featuring a series of activities designed to promote and create awareness,engage communities, showcase Uganda’s diverse tourism potential and celebrate achievements within the sector.
