Robins have had the most wonderful day at Barnwell Country Park. We have used our senses to explore, discovered a range of animal habitats, picnicked in the sunshine and loved playing in the park. Thank you Rangers Kate and Ant and our volunteers! 🐞
Good morning Robins! I am really looking forward to our trip to Barnwell today! Remember to wear long trousers and sturdy shoes ready to take part in our fun activities. See you soon! #RPIS 🍃
In Maths we have been making 2 digit numbers with the Base 10 equipment and then finding 1 more and 1 less than the number. We have also learnt more about punishments in Victorian schools and discussed whether they were happy places to be. ✒️
Robins and Eagles welcomed visitors Steve, Jo and Queen Victoria into school this morning to find out more about the Victorian Era. They told us what it was like to be a child during this time and let us handle Victorian artefacts. #RPIS ⭐️
In our DT lesson this afternoon we practiced preparing a range of foods. We used equipment to slice, grate, peel and mash. We also enjoyed tasting the food we prepared. Great job Robins! 👍#RPIS
Robins described direction in Maths today using the vocabulary left and right. They gave each other instructions such as ‘put your left foot in the blue circle’. Great co-operation Robins! ⭐️#RPIS
In our 'Write Stuff' lesson we have been writing facts about the American athlete Florence Joyner. Why not take a look at this video about her life and achievements? What an amazing woman! 🏆 #RPIS https://t.co/KY65y8J3uo
Our Phonics Screening Check is next week. Please could you spend time this weekend and next week practicing the letter sounds and reading the real and alien words. Take a look at our website for further information and past papers. https://t.co/j52eAyHuVn Thank you! 😀#RPIS
Robins watched a video about the Victorian era this afternoon. They worked brilliantly in groups to record what they found out. They were particularly interested in the penny farthing bicycle! #RPIS 🌟
I’m so proud of our choir! What a fantastic job they did today 🥰
Head over to our Facebook page to see more photos and a video of their performance 🤩

Robins have loved looking at Google Earth this afternoon. We found the school and talked about what we could see from the photos. We then zoomed in using Street View. Why not take a look at home? https://t.co/Z9rceLdznT #RPIS🌍
In Maths the Robins have been doubling. We talked about what a double is and found doubles using a range of equipment. We recorded the number sentences for the doubles we found. #RPIS
Robins were very lucky today. Our Trust Maths Lead, Mr Coates, came to teach our maths lesson. We learnt about equal and unequal groups. He commented on the Robins super listening and behaviour! I am very proud! #RPIS🌟
