Exactly why I teach without ability groupings. Phenomenal results. Some pupils are so surprised and proud of their achievements which they wouldn't have had if they were in rigid ability groups. Others are receiving the support they need to avoid gaps. #noceilingonlearning #proud

@MissLapere Absolutely agree. Now, any time a pupil reads aloud they mimic what I do when I'm reading aloud. Expression, mannerisms, everything. Also silent reading with your class and discussing new books makes a big difference too - really motivational for them! 🌟

Carols around the Christmas tree. A lovely celebration to end 2018. All classes sang their favourite Christmas carol and the staff joined in with their own version of The Twelve Days of Christmas. We wish all our children and families a peaceful and happy Christmas.
