When your class rock at giving kind, helpful and specific feedback! I was blown away by the conversations these students had on their literary essays using their own checklists @BuckhornCreekES@ELeducation
Day 2 of editing our Water Pollution essays. Everyone did a fantastic job working with a friend and our self-made checklist. They even got to show off their work to our visitors from @ELeducation@BuckhornCreekES. Can’t wait to see their final pieces
Busy planning and writing our final essay of 3rd grade on Water Pollution. So much progress has been made since module 1! They are now so much more independent, taking ownership of planning sheets and the Painted Essay to aid their writing. @BuckhornCreekES@ELeducation
One of my favourite things about my class is how they help each other without being asked by an adult. We are busy revising our scenes from Peter Pan adding dialogue to show not tell @BuckhornCreekES@ParticipateLrng
3rd Grade have enjoyed sharing their Freaky Frog 🐸 digital books with their friends in 2nd Grade this afternoon to celebrate the end of the module. We also got to listen to 2nd Grade’s stories as well! @BuckhornCreekES@ParticipateLrng
We’ve been busy perfecting our addition and subtraction strategies. Yesterday the students became the teachers showing their friends the strategies they’ve learnt. @ParticipateLrng@BuckhornCreekES
To finish of our Body Systems topic we made moving hands to show the bones and tendons. The children worked super hard and helped each other to get to these fantastic end products #BucsTreasureOthers@BuckhornCreekES@ParticipateLrng
Day #1 teaching in the 🇺🇸 ✅. We had lots of fun getting to know each other and learning our new routines. We spent the afternoon working on our Teamwork trying to save Fred the gummy worm. @BuckhornCreekES@ParticipateLrng
