For internet safety week Year 4 have been learning about stereotypes and how to identify online messages about stereotyped roles. They created adverts for a targeted audience and we discussed how these messages are reinforced online and how they can be challenged @HerbMorrPriSch

Year 4 have been enjoying some gardening in the sun ☀️ Our pepper plants 🫑 are growing and we’ve replanted them into bigger pots #growing #outdoorlearning @HerbMorrPriSch

Year 4 Turtles have been enjoying #Scienceweek learning all about changes and states of matter. We investigated which was the fizziest drink and which type of chocolate 🍫 melted the fastest. We made predictions and had lots of great discussions about our results @HerbMorrPriSch

Turtles have been learning the importance of looking after their mental health and well-being. They did some great activities and shared lots of ideas to look after themselves @HerbMorrPriSch

As part of #saferinternetday Year 4 Turtles learnt all about scams and phishing and how to stay safe online. They enjoyed watching the BBC live lesson and discussed different scenarios, deciding whether they were a scam or not and why @HerbMorrPriSch

We have the right to be safe and have our voice heard. #rightsrespectingschool Year 4 have been linking their rights to road safety and have been campaigning to make our school road safer. They wrote to our local MP for support to help make this happen @HerbMorrPriSch
