It's been a busy week in Year 2. We've started our new text Dear Earth and used our prediction and inference skills to guess what the story is about and what our character is like....

Over the past week Year 2 have been writing instructions. Today we completed the final write and I'm so proud of their efforts. Tomorrow we get to follow our instructions and try and make an iced biscuit!

On Tuesday Year 2 went to Hunstanton. Despite it being a chilly start, the sun did eventually come out and fun was had by all.

3rd read of 2025 finished. Not my usual read but was drawn in by the front cover. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this!

Year 2 had a visit from a paramedic this morning to learn about how they keep people healthy. They absolutely loved getting to see an ambulance and ask lots of questions. Extra bonus when the paramedic is your future sister-in-law!

Today we walked 60 children and 8 adults to a church and we had a great time!
