Before data & graphing, we were working hard on our measurement skills! We practiced measuring items with different objects and comparing lengths. The use of manipulatives really engaged all of the students! 📏✏️

Today we officially moved into data and graphing in math! The students loved voting on their favorite weekend activity and creating their own colorful graphs to go along with it. 🤩📊

Incorporated a Valentine’s Day celebration into our math lesson this week! We have been learning about measurement with standard & nonstandard forms of measurement, and just started to move into our data and graphing lessons! The students loved this hands on activity 🤩🍬❤️

The students were practicing building their number sentences using cards with the numbers and signs. The students had to rearrange the cards to create 2 addition and 2 subtraction problems, which was used as a formative assessment!

This is Jack. He's 4. Jack accidentally dialed 911 yesterday and found out the police do come. Although we don't mind, Mom&Dad turned it into a teachable moment. Jack wanted to say he was sorry & brought @PPFpretzels. Who on earth could be mad at this kid???

Had a great time celebrating Johnny Appleseed day this past Thursday. All of the students were so engaged in learning! The students brought their favorite apples to eat & we all tried some apple cider from a local farmers market! 🍎🍏
