It’s been an awful tough year, have your school dropped/relaxed “accountability measures” for the final run in? Things like book reviews, observations and so on?
Hands up if you worked a day this year when you felt ill but didn’t want to let anyone down, if you had a personal issue but smiled all day for the kids even though you wanted to cry, or if you spent your own time or money to make someone else’s day without thanks. I see you ❤️
This is for real?! Appalling.
Then everyone will wonder why mental health rates have not improved and society remains intolerant, as the same children get punished, excluded and face discrimination with such approaches.
Behaviourism is not the answer.
Children lacked ‘discipline and order’ during lockdown, says man who closed schools the night before they opened and told teachers to grade A-levels, then ignored what they said and used an algorithm instead:
I believe #neonicotinoids have no place in a #wilderfuture, so I've joined @wildlifetrusts in calling on the Prime Minister to overturn this terrible decision. @SarahChampionMP, will you support me and back it too? https://t.co/OvkN8YOttO
Wildlife across the world is facing mass extinction, including here in the UK where a quarter of mammals are at imminent risk of disappearing. I just signed @friends_earth's petition to demand the government prevents mass extinction. Will you join me? https://t.co/4dBSpdvuVH

1) The UK government keep justifying their decision to reopen schools by saying they are mirroring Denmark who have successfully reopened schools, and directed the unions to find out how it has been achieved safely, so we did and this is what we found:
Does your MFL department use ideas from Breaking the Sound Barrier (Conti & Smith)?
A poll to support my observation that it's an influential book, changing the way MFL departments approach listening.
For a PGCE essay.
Many thanks!!

@JRBoyd19@gianfrancocont9 We have totally changed our curriculum. HoD wrote new schemes of work based on the LAM approach. It has breathed fresh air into our teaching and we always go on about how kids are retaining more, loving the lessons and becoming more confident with listening and speaking!
“Will you apologise for the Conservatives masquerading as a FactCheck service?”
That was the question @C4Ciaran put to Michael Gove who said it was right to call out “those untruths that Labour are responsible for.”
Grimly dystopian. @JamesCleverly lies about using the Conservative Party Press account to lie to the country by pretending it is fact-checking service calling out lies, when in fact it is spreading more lies. This is what George Orwell wrote about in 1984. https://t.co/QC0mlMuUmY
