Beginner @HawthorneWCS coding club students had another successful meeting today. They finished up their traffic light circuits then had some fun building circuits with Play Doh!

Advanced @HawthorneWCS coding club students had their first meeting of the year today. They did a great job starting Redboard microprocessors to build & code blinking light circuits. They changed the speed of the blinking light & added more lights and code to their circuits.

Intermediate @HawthorneWCS coding club had their first meeting of the year today. Despite many technical difficulties students showed patience & understanding starting to code Little Bits circuits. It was great to have this group back together for their 2nd year in the club!

A new group of beginner @HawthorneWCS coding club students had their first meeting today. They started the year making traffic light circuits with copper tape. We are off to an awesome start and I’m looking forward to seeing this group grow!

Intermediate @HawthorneWCS coding club students continued coding with Little Bits today. They learned to add functions to their code to create different dance moves. Awesome work by everyone!

Beginner @HawthorneWCS coding club students did an excellent job continuing to work on coding their Spheros to follow paths. It was great to see them challenge themselves & use good problem solving skills to figure out how to make their robots drive the correct direction.

Advanced @HawthorneWCS coding club students started working on ideas for robots they will design and build. Then they had some fun coding Spheros around hallway obstacles. Another great meeting and looking forward to seeing finished projects!
