We have been learning all about Asia this semester in Geography, so what better way to tie it all together than with 'A Touch Of Asia' projects. Proud teacher of these bright stars and what they have accomplished independently! β¨β¨ @BangorPS@craigsnudden
When you give students ownership, magic happens β¨β¨ Today's task was to use the BIDMAS strategy and only the number 4 to create number sentences that equalled the number in each box. Lots of critical thinking and collaborating!! @craigsnudden@BangorPS
Building our vocabularies one word at a time! Each time we encounter an unknown word in our novel study, Bridge to Terabithia, we share it on the word wall. β¨πβ¨ @BangorPS@craigsnudden
This week's learning intention: To accurately convert an improper fraction into a mixed numeral. Today we did a self reflection on our understanding of the learning intention. Students then shared their responses in small groups. A simple formative assessment tool! @craigsnudden
Proud teacher moment! These four superstars form my year 6 debating team. Today they had a playoff vs Loftus PS after tying for first place in our zone. It was a tough battle and we unfortunately lost this round. Congrats and good luck to Loftus moving forward! @BangorPS
Today we had a book marathon in Year 5! Students created a book of their choice and brought in to share. The students had to use a feedback form to review 3 books. Very engaged little readers! β¨β¨@KerrieGrimison@craigsnudden@BangorPS
5H and 5PG sharing their model homes they created as part of their homework. Students had to create a home of any size and measure the area of their home. Hands on and lots of fun! #stem#creativity@craigsnudden@KerrieGrimison@BangorPS
