Jack is an absolutely amazing, well mannered, polite and happy student who is just a breath of fresh air each and every morning! Congrats Jack, we are super proud of you!

“Jack worked his way up from the bottom to the top all while doing his schoolwork.

“When parents shout at him he keeps calm and calms down the parents too, taking the time to show what you are doing wrong and how to put it right.”

Reflecting on my GCSE Textiles lessons it dawned on me that I had assumed students knew how to create sketchbook backgrounds by showing them examples. I hadn't actually shown them how to make them! What a fun lesson - super pleased with their experimentation and creativity today!

Received some lovely thank you cards from my students! It's heartwarming to read that I have helped to improve their confidence and enjoyment of the arts! My Year 13 form however, thanked me for putting up with them!!

What a great response we had to our first Virtual Art Club theme! Thank you and well done to everyone that took part! The second theme is now on the Derby Moor website!

Using the last few days of lockdown to (hopefully) complete the painting I started! I've not always felt like doing it but it's looming over me! #artwork #lockdown #acrylic #motivation #getitdone
