And just like that, my first year of teaching is finished!
My first day vs my last day at Portmoak 💛 what an absolutely incredible year it has been! I am so sad to be leaving but I am delighted to say that I have now accepted a full time permanent teaching post!

What a day! I can't believe that today was the final day of my last placement before starting my probation year!! I feel so blessed to have spent the last 3 months with the most amazing bunch of P6s @DunbarneyPS and cannot wait to start my new teaching adventure! @PKCEducation

My favourite part of today's "Getting to know you session" was at the end when I asked the learners if they felt they knew me a bit better, the whole class shouted "YES!!" and one wee one pipes up and says "yeah, a little too much"! Couldn't help myself from laughing out loud!!

@veemacpherson I'm in a P2 class so I took in a backpack of some of the things that I love to show them which make me unique and special and then asked them to draw on their backpack sheet some of the things that they love that made them unique and special followed by a wee chat about it all 😊
