So today marked the last day with my amazing Ash Hill family. I have taught 3 wonderful classes, met a whole host of wonderful people and embarked on my leadership journey and I can’t believe I won’t be walking through those doors in September! But new challenges await! 💜💖
@richardosman I am LOVING your books, particularly read by Leslie Manville on @audibleuk. I’ve come out of Twitter hibernation to ask you what Joyce said to Ibrahim to get him to leave the flat?? Thank you 😊 #thursdaymurderclub
I’ve lived down South for 8 years and it’s the first time they’ve all been able to come (minus the brother) and see the home I’ve made for myself. It’s been a wonderful few days 💛🧡
…at the carpet full of children. Cue screaming and children running everywhere! Before I promptly trapped it under a mug and got the class under control. Thank you to my LA, who then got rid! I’m not exaggerating when I say, the thing was HUGE! Crazy morning!
Today, a child had made a helmet out of cardboard and I allowed him to show the class. He puts it on, talk about it etc. then takes it off. Another child noticed a MASSIVE spider on there and tells him. He then proceeds to throw (in panic) the cardboard, spider intact …
Thank you @missnolan91 for your email response today about Times Tables in your school. It’s great to hear about good practice and see what others are doing! Thanks to @chrisdysonHT too! It’s all useful to go forward with my NPQML and improving TTs at my school! 😌
@HeadOnTheHill @MorgsEd Agree, I find that that PowerPoints they provide (if you’re a premium subscriber) don’t actually have any teaching points, just a series of progressively harder questions. I have to really work backwards and think what do I have to teach for the chn to answer this Q.
