Year 2 went on their trip to Mumbles after learning about the beach.
We discussed things we might see and spotted the lighthouse! We also found plant pots similar to ones that we are making for our enterprise project👀
Joes Ice cream was a treat too!🍦
We have been mini weather presenters this week and enhancing our French language 🇫🇷
The children were recoding conversations introducing themselves and discussing the weather and days of the week in French ☀️🌦️☔️

Created an interactive display in the writing corner this morning.
The children have been learning about different writing styles and now they can work independently to challenge themselves!

Often throughout my student teaching journey I find myself being overly critical on my practice and feel overwhelmed. So reflecting on my experiences on placement and positive effects on the children was very fulfilling and reminded me why I enjoy teaching 🥰
@PGCEswanseauni
Today we learnt how to have a conversation using British Sign Language (BSL) 👋🏼
Thank you @AgoredCymru for teaching us different ways to communicate with children who have difficulty with communication 👍🏻

When you wake up to a text from your previous nursery saying one of the children have bought you a rose 🥹
I left my job in the nursery in August to start my PGCE journey.
How wonderful and precious it is to see the impact you make in children’s lives ❤️
