What is Digital Citizenship?! I wasn't quite sure either. No matter our age, we have a responsibility and a need to teach it. #ISTE shares what this looks like in our classrooms today and #administrators or #futureleaders should look at this framework. #EDLR795@DrVirtuality
In @digcitizen's book, "Digital Citizenship in Schools," he explains three categories of digital citizenship and lays out a framework that educators can use to teach the basics.

We are a TEAM! We need to trust in our students to help the class move forward together. By creating a bond like this, we will empower students to be advocates for themselves and one another in their learning. #empoweredclassroom#buildingleaders

Simply stated, care for our teachers and teachers who care for students.
All too often do teachers outstay the time they should teaching. Also everyone says they advocate for teachers, but nothing is changing with pay or conditions. #sustainableteaching

WE make teaching unsustainable along with others EXPECTATIONS of us. We like to naturally go overboard and others then adopt those expectations for us. We create a lot of the unsustainable feelings on our own by not setting boundaries. #Learnlap

When I think of sustainable teaching, I think of teamwork. We have to come together with administration, our teams, students, and families to keep a stable foundation. It cannot be one sided, it will never be sustainable then. #teamworkmakesthedreamwork
The more I explore twitter, the more Educational resources I find. Thanks to @cultofpedagogy and @arneduncan, I have learned more about our educational system as a whole. Take a look, they won't disappoint! #edchat#ntchat
@Miss_Agan @DrVirtuality When some hear the word complexity, they think of this past year and the challenges. I think we are ready to expand the meaning of that word in our classrooms. Our students have risen to the occasion and are asking for more! Such a great list of ideas!
@msholleymusic A colleague and I started a similar trend. We would do secret gifts, messages, or gestures for those around our school. We all wanted to keep up with the meaningful relationships that kept us teachers going!
#EDLR795@DrVirtuality Has anyone ever heard of @EdLightPBC!? I have been looking into this app and some of the great options it has for teachers. No more taking stacks of papers home! If you are a person who prefers tech, check it out.
A1: I am going to continue to use tools like @EdLightPBC so that students can scan & submit even pen & paper HW to me before lessons. That way I can analyze student learning data more thoroughly & comment directly on their papers even from my computer. #ELmagchat
