@HistoryFactou Funny thing is you go blind when you see the word illegal foreigners... South Africans have no issues with Africans who are here legally its the ones who dont contribute to SARA have no documents and bring trouble who we dont want.
@Lesufi Yabon if the president can step down we'll vote for ANC because the struggle continues. Those who are a minority can not own more than what they are in a land full of natives.
@SABCNews He always comes out when his business interests are at stake. He doesn’t care about South Africa or its citizens. He is all about himself just like all other politicians
@SABCNews What are they bringing la because most of them just dirty our cities and bring drugs whilst making people uncomfortable in their own space also they are loud yohhh okare people from one of our province ba loud
“South Africans are the only ones who are allowed to operate in the informal market. As a Ghanaian, you are breaking the law. We are taking full control. Go and fix your country.”
— A South African woman tells a Ghanaian man to close down his shop immediately so South Africans can take over, as he has no right to open a shop in South Africa
“You must support the ANC only so far as it delivers the goods… if it does not deliver the goods, you must do to it what you have done to the apartheid regime.”
"If the African National Congress (ANC) fails to deliver to the people as the apartheid government did, citizens have the democratic right to "do to the ANC what you did to the apartheid government". -Nelson Mandela
@MbalulaFikile Niyifaka abomzala benu nama post we municipality we apply kodwa ziphiwa ana friends and family wama counselor or if you not party of a political party they dont pick you.
That's the only way we will have one Africa by having citizens in their countries building their economies so we can unite strongly and be undefeated
What's the point of one Africa if the can't go to Nigeria as a South African because idiots are killing kids and the citizens don't care
It is not always smart to be too academic about such things.
The people on the streets aren’t academic. I don’t know who said this, but “a hungry stomach knows no political science.”
You and I may see Africans accessing facilities because of political concept X, Y or Z.
But these protesters live an experience where they just see queues getting longer at their local free clinic meant for poor South Africans.
They have to wait behind 100s of people who speak languages they don’t understand.
They wait hours just to be attended to.
Then opportunists mobilise them. An easy argument to make.

They see others getting admitted in local no fee schools without meeting all the same prerequisites or producing full documents, because by law an affidavit or letter may be accepted.
Meanwhile their own children are told to bring several documents, make copies, certify papers, stand in lines, then get told the school is full.
Now they must try a further school, meaning extra transport costs.
How do they react?
You think they know about typing documents, lobbying for policy changes, writing formal complaints?
Hell no.
Most react emotionally to what is directly in front of them.
Not justifying it.
But just saying “they hate Africans” can miss the whole point.
A misdiagnosis will always lead to wrong solutions.
Sister @kimheller3 who I respect very much, it would be strange for them to suddenly target white people when many do not experience them as direct competitors in those daily public resource struggles.
