Fact of the week: A thread provided by one of D1’s finest

[Alex (Mr Bramley 🍎) @Alex_Bramley3]

Saw this during a recent visit to my new school 🏫

One on each classroom door to encourage visitors and staff to talk with the children about their learning 🚪✏️

Love it! What a great idea! 💪🏼👏🏻

✨A great opportunity to get to teach extremely able and motivated pupils who are keen and enthusiastic to learn (applications close at 9am on the 22nd of May) ✨https://t.co/JCIriogiMg

Controversial opinion - I have the best board set up in my new school. Projector onto normal white board trumps all other set ups! Tell me why I’m wrong?

[Miss Jones @Miss_S_R_Jones]

Can’t believe a Y8(!!) went home after Physics and made his room into a Camera Obscura! I’ve never successfully managed this, and on saying how impressed I was he said ‘I think I could’ve done better as the colours are quite blurry’ !! @StDunstansColl https://t.co/yVgh42txQQ

[St Dunstan's College @StDunstansColl]

A busy week ahead at St Dunstan's... Tomorrow is our Sixth Form Open Evening, which is the perfect opportunity for families to find out more about our Sixth Form Experience https://t.co/4TEx7wGIDH #DiscoverStDunstans #OpenEvening

What if they faked the queen’s death just so they could have the most shocking Masked Singer reveal ever

The Art of Chemistry 🎨🧪
To round off their redox module, Ss etched their creations on aluminium foil with a toothpick, painted them with CuCl2, and watched the reaction unfold. Such joy in the classroom! Thanks @aactconnect for this awesome idea 🙌🏽

This image of a woman shirtless in a sports bra - hugely significant. This is a woman’s body - not for sex or show - just for the sheer joy of what she can do and the power and skill she has. Wonderful. #Lionesses

Am I the only one that sees a problem with working 8-9 hours a day and then going home to having about 4 hours to yourself which includes getting ready for the next day??? This is not life…

If you mistakenly close a word document without saving it or no autosave, open the 'this PC' in your file explorer and type ".asd". you’ll find the document there.

When I graduated high school my mama went to a rent-to-own store and got a computer so I could go to college with a laptop. Over the course of her payments she ended up paying $2400 for a $700 laptop. Being poor is expensive & college isn’t the equalizer we think it is.

Max’s even stayed in at break and lunch to ensure his final presentation was perfect @edbledbl thank you!

12. Stop trying to impress everyone.

Pleasing people does not lead to increased respect.

Instead, be valuable and serve people when it’s appropriate.

[Alex Mathers | 🐉 @Alexmathers84]

6. Be undistracted.

How refreshing is it to see someone speaking to someone who is actively attentive?

It is becoming rare.

Instant respect.
